RICHMOND, CA – Exit Now is today hosting its inaugural event in collaboration with 7 Stars Holistic Healing Center. The 420 event features live music by Salvador Santana and other musical acts, an arts market, free food, cannabis brand representatives, goodie bags, and other festivities.

Exit Now is an arts and events space that is available for rental to members of the community. The theme of the space is based on ideas of social change, eco futurism, and using willpower to create a positive future in the face of the challenges of our day. Community based organizations, nonprofits, and other changemakers are invited to contact Exit Now’s Founder, Ben Grambergu for a free consultation on services available.

“After having an epiphany a few years ago I fully felt the vulnerability of life on this planet. Climate change, war, environmental destruction, the way we treat other animals—all of these things hit me like a ton of bricks. To process the experience, I wrote a poem that featured the refrain, ‘Exit Now’ at the end of each stanza.” says Founder Ben Grambergu. “The more I meditated on the idea of Exit Now, the more I realized that without a physical space to make this fleeting vision real it would inevitably just slip away. Opening this event space is the next step in the journey, and I’m so excited to invite the wider community in to co-create the future that I caught a glimpse of on that fateful day.”

It’s not a coincidence that Exit Now is throwing its inaugural event on Earth Day and 420, in partnership with 7 Stars Holistic Healing Center. Caring for our planet and doing things differently is at the core of Exit Now’s vision. The cannabis industry has historically broken molds and done business less traditionally. The industry has proven again and again that just because things have historically been done one way, doesn’t mean they always have to be done the same way. Taking this rebellious spirit, and integrating it with the vision of Earth Day, Exit Now hopes to set the tone for future gatherings in the space, striking the first chord in what we know will soon be a symphony of people taking action to make the world a better place.

Exit Now is on a mission to change the world through facing the fundamental truth of our world—that the resources on our planet are finite and we are running out of time. But rather than falling into despair, Exit Now seeks to foster an environment of creativity, inclusion, and radical thought. By creating space for celebrations, fundraisers, strategic planning sessions, and movement building, we are committing in earnest to do what it takes to make the planet habitable for future generations.
